Team owner Manuel Puccetti has praised Kenan Sofuoglu following an emotional victory in the World Supersport race at Imola. The championship leader won the Italian Round despite the knowledge that baby son Hamza was critically ill in hospital in his native Turkey. “He is a strong guy, as though he is made of steel, and he has a heart of gold,” Puccetti commented in Paolo Gozzi’s ‘Inside Superbike’ blog, written for Italy’s Gazzetta.it. “He came here despite the pain and difficulties in his path.”
